Terms & Conditions
Marketplace Gungahlin will conduct a prize giveaway as part of its ‘Gift Mum a Daisy’ Mother’s Day campaign, running from Monday 27th April to Sunday, May 17, 2026. Multiple prizes of varying values will be awarded to eligible participants throughout this period.
Eligibility and Entry Requirements
Entry Process
To enter, participants must:
- Scan the designated QR code located within the Centre and participating stores.
- Submit their full name, email address, postcode, and proof of a minimum $30 spend within the Centre.
- Upload a valid proof of purchase as part of the entry process.
Purchase Requirements
- Eligible purchases must be made within the competition period (April 27 – May 17, 2026) and may include multiple receipts from participating retailers.
- Purchases from Woolworths and Aldi are excluded.
Entry Limitations
- Each participant may submit only one entry per day.
- Receipts cannot be reused for multiple entries.
Receipt Verification
- Staff at the activation may request to see a copy of a participant’s receipt at any time, even if a registration has already been shown. Participants must ensure they retain a copy of their receipt for verification.
Consent to Communications
By entering the competition, participants consent to being added to the Marketplace Gungahlin database, as well as the database of the participating retailers. Entrants may opt out of communications at any time.
Prize Allocation and Collection
Free Daisy Bag Charm
- Only 25 bag charms are available per day. Once this amount is finished, ‘Daisy, Dash’ game will be available to replace
- Only one charm per eligible customer per day
- There will be surprise additional gifts attached to selected 5 x charms each day
Game-Based Prize Selection (Daisy, Dash)
- Winners will be determined based as if they could successfully find the daisy printed ball in the ball pit within 20 seconds
- Winners will have the opportunity to select a prize from the designated prize box.
Prize Conditions
- Prizes are non-transferable.
- Prizes must be collected immediately by the winner at the time of winning.
Minor Prizes
- 25 free bag charms each day of the event (May 2,3,9,10,16,17)
- 40 x free flower posies each day of the event (May 2,3,9,10,16,17)
- 80 x instant prizes (including gift cards from Marketplace Gungahlin, Travel Associates, Price Attacks, Just Cuts, Studio Pilates, Poetry in Flowers, Chatkazz, Hing Win Wonton)
Major Prize Draw
Automatic Entry into the Major Draw
Participants who register to join Gift Mum a Daisy campaign will automatically be entered into the major prize draw – the prize of this being a $500 Gift Card from Travel Associates Gungahlin.
Winner Selection and Notification
Prize will be drawn on Monday May 18th and major draw winner will be selected at random and contacted directly.
Exclusions
Employees of Marketplace Gungahlin, Centre Management, and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.
Publicity and Liability
- By accepting a prize, winners consent to the publication of their first name and suburb on Marketplace Gungahlin’s social media platforms.
- Marketplace Gungahlin assumes no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of prizes awarded.
General Conditions
- Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Marketplace Gungahlin reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms or engages in fraudulent activity.
- Marketplace Gungahlin reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- The decisions of Marketplace Gungahlin regarding all aspects of the competition are final and binding.
Liability
1. The Promoter and any companies associated with this competition accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered [including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss] or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
3. Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
4. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, then it will be suspended subject to the approval of gaming authorities in NSW, where required.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the gaming authorities where required.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion and not award the prize(s) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the Promoter will:
a) Advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice at the Centre Management Office and on Marketplace Gungahlin website;
b) Not use the personal information you have provided.
7. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision [or part thereof] shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
8. Participation in the Promotion implies acceptance of all conditions of entry.
