Terms & Conditions
Marketplace Gungahlin will conduct a prize giveaway as part of its Don’t Drop Your Buns competition, running from Saturday 6th September to Sunday 21st September 2025.
Eligibility and Entry Requirements
Entry Process
To enter, participants must:
- Fill in their form on the iPad including their full name, email address, postcode and proof of minimum $30 spend in Centre.
- Show copy of receipt to activation staff.
Purchase Requirements
- Eligible purchases must be made within the competition period (6 – 21 September, 2025) and may include multiple receipts from participating retailers.
Entry Limitations
- Each participant may submit only one entry per day.
- Receipts cannot be reused for multiple entries.
Receipt Verification
- Staff at the activation may request to see a copy of a participant’s receipt at any time, even if a token has already been shown. Participants must ensure they retain a copy of their receipt for verification.
Consent to Communications
By entering the competition, participants consent to being added to the Marketplace Gungahlin database. Entrants may opt out of communications at any time.
Prize Allocation and Collection
Game-Based Prize Selection
- Winners will be determined based on their ability to successfully complete an stacking game.
- Participants who finish the full burger within the time limit will win a $50 gift card. Those who complete half the burger in the set timeframe will receive a $20 gift card. (Prizes are subject to availability and may change.) Please note: if a participant chooses to go for the full burger but the stack falls or they don’t finish in time, no prize will be awarded.
Prize Conditions
- Prizes are non-transferable.
- Prizes must be collected immediately by the winner at the time of winning.
Exclusions
Employees of Marketplace Gungahlin, Centre Management, and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.
Publicity and Liability
- By accepting a prize, winners consent to the publication of their first name and suburb on Marketplace Gungahlin’s social media platforms.
- Marketplace Gungahlin assumes no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of prizes awarded.
General Conditions
– Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
– Marketplace Gungahlin reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms or engages in fraudulent activity.
– Marketplace Gungahlin reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time if unforeseen circumstances arise.
– The decisions of Marketplace Gungahlin regarding all aspects of the competition are final and binding.
Liability
1. The Promoter and any companies associated with this competition accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered [including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss] or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
3. Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
4. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, then it will be suspended subject to the approval of gaming authorities in NSW, where required.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the gaming authorities where required.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion and not award the prize(s) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the Promoter will:
a) Advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice at the Centre Management Office and on Marketplace Gungahlin website;
b) Not use the personal information you have provided.
7. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision [or part thereof] shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
8. Participation in the Promotion implies acceptance of all conditions of entry.
